  • 1 bay leaf

  • ½ teaspoon savory

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon thyme

  • 1½ teaspoons cumin

  • ⅓ cup chopped celery

  • ½ tablespoon butter

  • 14.5 ounces (411 g) canned tomatoes, diced or torn apart

  • ⅔ cup long-grain rice

  • 1½ cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups cooked and chopped turkey or chicken

  • 1 small can of sliced mushrooms (optional), drained

Directions

  • 1/2 Kilo ground pork

  • 1/4 Kilo shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine

  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers

  • 8 cups chicken broth

  • 1 inch ginger, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

Directions

  • Combine the ground pork, shrimp, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
